Chief Economist, General Electric
Marco Annuziata has a passion for understanding how technological innovation impacts industry, business strategies, competition, economic growth, jobs and incomes. He accumulated plenty of hands-on experience on these issues during his seven years as General Electric’s Chief Economist and Head of Business Innovation Strategy. Annunziata arrived at GE in 2011 with a long track record in the financial sector, previously working at Unicredit, Deutsche Bank and the International Monetary Fund, where he researched emerging markets and the Eurozone. A member of the European Central Bank's Shadow Council and of the European Council of Economists, Annunziata has been featured on Bloomberg, CNBC, and in The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. Annunziata has a PhD in economics from Princeton.
Jan Burian
Head of Manufacturing Insights, IDC EMEA
Jan Burian is Head of Manufacturing Insights for IDC EMEA. His core research coverage includes Industry 4.0, digital transformation, and IT and automation tools in the manufacturing environment across industries such as automotive, machinery, steel, and consumer products. His focus is on the level of adoption of the technologies that are relevant for the production company of the future, and on the connection between strategy, technology, and workforce. This involves dealing with artificial intelligence for production planning, supply chain planning and quality management, seamless data flows, collaborative robotics, intelligent process automation, and predictive maintenance, among others. Another key focus is the industry wide adoption of technology, including horizontal and vertical collaboration across the supply chain.
Jean Olivieri
Chief Operating Officer, Fictiv
Jean Olivieri has over 22 years of expansive experience in hardware product development, operations, and strategic business development. New Product Introduction is the backbone of Ms. Olivieri's career, and she has held executive leadership positions in operations at Fortune-500 companies such as Apple, Motorola and SpaceX.
